This is a McDonald's Commercial about their all day breakfast. Television ads are a form of persuasive genre because the whole point of them is to persuade an individual to consume the project that it is marketing. The purpose of this ad was to inform the general public about the restaurant's new policy of serving all day breakfast. Since the ad originates from Canada and even shows the maple leaf emblem the audience would be McDonald's customers in Canada. The ad also appeals to people that enjoy McDonald's breakfast and would be ore inclined to go their now that it is offered all day. This ad uses the appeal of pathos by showing comical scenarios inspiring a good feeling when recalling the ad. The mode of the ad is a television commercial, this allows for it to access a large amount of potential customers and many people that might not know about the breakfast deal. The media of this ad would be the television. This allows the ad to reach many more people than a face to face means as well as covering much larger area. This ad is designed to attract new customers and it does so by showing shots of people enjoying one of the headline breakfast foods that they offer.
