Project 1 progress

I am trying to do my project 1 on the band Bad Suns. I wanted to do my project on them because I listen to a lot of music and they are one of my favorite bands. I want to analyze one of their songs, the album cover, and a poster for a show they did. I did not make an outline for this paper, I am just dumping all of my ideas onto a paper and then organizing it to make sense. This project is really interesting to me because I can choose to right about something that I really enjoy. I already know some stuff about this subject so it seems like I will be able to get some good ideas down. I really enjoy the freedom that this project gives you by letting you pick almost anything as a pop culture icon. I think that the biggest challenge for this paper has just been getting started. I feel like I have good ideas in my head but I just need to get stuff down onto the paper and clean them up. Sometimes it can be difficult trying to express what you are thinking on a paper if the idea is not completely clear.
